UP board English paper leaked: Exam rescheduled on April 13, inspector district suspended

LUCKNOW: Wednesday’s cancellation by the UP Secondary Education Board of class 12 English papers in 24 districts was due to a paper leak allegedly from Ballia. The English paper was to be held in the second shift from 2.15 PM to 5.15 PM today. STF has been brought in to conduct further investigation.

The Ballia inspector district school Brijesh Mishra exam has been suspended. The exam was rescheduled for April 13, 2022. It will take place from 8 AM to 11.15 AM. Nearly 5 lakh students were affected by the UP Board Class 12 English paper cancellation.

Aradhana Shukla, additional chief secretary secondary education, stated that the series 316 ED of the English paper and 316 EI were leaked from Ballia before the examination. “English exam cancelled in all 24 districts were the question papers of these two series. Shukla stated that Shukla is investigating the matter.

These 24 districts were affected by the cancellation of English paper: Ballia and Etah.

The English exam will take place in all other districts except these 24 districts. VK Pandey, chairman of UPSEB, announced that the new date for English exams in these 24 districts would be announced later.

Prashant Kumar, UP’s additional director general for police, law, and order, told TOI that an FIR was registered in Ballia in connection to the UP board paper paper leak, while the STF will investigate the larger conspiracy.
