Education is continuous process in armed forces: Senior Army officer


PUNE: General Officer-Commanding-in-Chief (GOC-in-C) Southern Command Lieutenant General JS Nain of the Indian Army on Monday said training is a necessary part and a persistent interaction in the military,
Lt Gen Nain was talking at the felicitation of distinguished and eminent Lt Generals and officials of the same position in the Navy and Air Force coordinated by Symbiosis in Pune.
“Training is a necessary part and a persistent cycle even in the Armed Forces. It begins at preparing scholastics and accumulates pace as one advances in their profession,” Lt Gen Nain said.
As international affairs, geoeconomics, methodology and weapon frameworks become an ever increasing number of modern, the arising advancements in space, digital, and data fighting (IW) are changing the personality of war, he said.
“Schooling in the military in fresher areas turns out to be much more basic, as it gives a scholarly engineering to more readily handle achievement and to stay on the ball,” the senior Army official said.
Lt Gen Nain informed that the Southern Command has stepped up and give temporary positions to understudies in the arising areas, for example, digital, space, IW and AI, quantum processing among different features.
